Predictably, this has produced a strong response. I was expecting 95% of the feedback to be negative, but right now it's tracking more as a 50-50 split. You can follow the discussion on the Sun Devil Message Board and Sparky's Pigskin Forum.
As I posted, I'm really torn. I'd much prefer to keep all sports on campus, but the opportunity to play in a state-of-the-art stadium for free may be too good to pass up.

I didn't see that we would play there for free. Did I miss something?
Quoting from the Republic's article: "ASU would not pay rent and would keep up to $1.1 million annually in ticket and concession revenue."
I wish we could keep baseball on campus too, but this move needs to be done. A baseball stadium with a capacity of only 4,000 is unacceptable for such a good team. Hopefully ASU will provide free shuttles to students like they do for football games.
